This policy explains how Velocity Sellers Inc (“Velocity Sellers”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit velocitysellers.com, book a call, use our chat, subscribe to our newsletter or otherwise contact us. It also explains the choices and rights you have.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Booking and contact details: when you book a call or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company or brand name, and details you choose to share about your business, such as your Amazon store and revenue range.
• Newsletter sign-up: name, email address, phone number, company name and revenue range.
• Chat and messages: what you write to us through the website chat, email, phone or text message.
• Client information: if you become a client, information needed to deliver our services, including access to your marketplace and advertising accounts. This is covered by your client agreement.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring page, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Advertising and campaign data: if you arrive from an ad or a tracked link, the click identifiers and campaign tags in that link (for example gclid, msclkid, fbclid and UTM tags). We keep these in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days and pass them to our booking calendar so we know which campaign led to a booking.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.

Information from third parties

• Business visitor identification (US visitors only): we use RB2B, a service that may match website visits from US visitors to professional profile information (such as name, job title, company and business email) from its own data sources. It does not run for visitors in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland unless they have consented to marketing cookies, and it does not run for US visitors who opt out (see section 8).

4. Text Messages

If you give us your phone number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your booking and our services. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your phone number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.

5. Who We Share Information With

We share personal information with service providers who process it for us under contract:

• HighLevel (LeadConnector): customer relationship management, booking calendar, website chat, forms, email and text messaging.
• WPMU DEV: website hosting. Cloudflare: content delivery and security.
• Google: Google Analytics (analytics), Google Ads (advertising measurement) and Google Workspace (email).
• Microsoft: Microsoft Advertising and Microsoft Clarity (advertising measurement and session analytics).
• Meta: Meta advertising measurement, where used.
• Hotjar: website usage analytics, including session recordings with form inputs masked.
• RB2B (with LinkedIn): business visitor identification for US visitors, as described above.
• Ahrefs and Cloudflare Web Analytics: cookieless website analytics.

We may also share information with professional advisers, with authorities when required by law, and with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized. We do not sell personal information for money.

6. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum) or a provider’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions.

7. How Long We Keep Information

• Enquiry and booking records: up to 3 years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
• Client records: for the length of the engagement and up to 7 years after it ends, for legal and accounting purposes.
• Newsletter and texting records: until you unsubscribe, plus a record of the opt-out.
• Analytics data: according to each provider’s retention settings.
• Cookies: see the Cookie Policy for each cookie’s duration.

8. Your Choices

• Cookies: visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked before any analytics or marketing cookies are set. Anyone can change their choice at any time with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page.
• Do Not Sell or Share (US): use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link at the bottom of every page. We also honor Global Privacy Control browser signals as an opt-out. When you opt out, we stop RB2B visitor identification and turn off ad personalization and data sharing for advertising on that browser.
• Marketing messages: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP to any text.

9. Your Rights

EU, EEA, UK and Swiss residents

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

US residents

Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and others with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to access, correct and delete it; to opt out of its sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising and of targeted advertising; and to appeal our decision on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent.

How to make a request

Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We respond within the time required by applicable law (usually 30 days under GDPR and 45 days under US state laws).

10. Children

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, where the changes are significant, give additional notice.
